Roadmap To Your Surgery

Please read this information very carefully and make sure you keep up with all the pre-operative requirements to make sure there are no delays or rescheduling fees

Step 1:

As Soon As Possible:

Sign Your Contract & Submit A Picture Of Your Id

You will receive a contract via DocuSign

Read and sign your contract and submit a picture of your ID as soon as possible

Step 2:

60-90 Days Prior To Your Surgery

Plan Your Stay
Plan your flight / hotel accommodations.

It is best to fly directly to the Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL) which is only 15 minutes from our office. Alternatively you may fly to Miami International Airport (MIA) 45-90 min away depending on traffic.

Plan to stay a total of at least 7 days (6 nights)
You Must Bring A Companion To Assist You During The First Weeek After Your Surgery

If you have opted out of our Recovery Stay Package, please keep in mind that you must:

Schedule your own massages
You MUST have a companion to drive to and from the surgery center (Taking an Uber or similar service is not allowed on the day of your surgery)

Step 3:

45-90 Days Prior To Your Surgery:

Schedule Your Labs & Medical Clearance
Schedule an appointment with your primary care provider to complete your Labs and Medical Clearance 45-30 days prior to your surgery to make sure all your results are completed on time
If you smoke, make sure you STOP smoking COMPLETELY at least 30 days prior to your surgery.
You will be tested for nicotine, drugs, and pregnancy on the day of your surgery, and if a positive test is found, your surgery will be canceled.
A $1,500 rescheduling fee will be applied.

Step 4:

4 Weeks Prior To Your Surgery

Submit Your Labs & Medical Clearance

Results MUST be submitted no later than 30 days prior to your surgery to avoid cancellation or rescheduling fees

Step 5:

3 Weeks Prior To Your Surgery

Complete Your Payment
Invoice must be paid in full 3 weeks before your surgery to avoid rescheduling fees

Step 6: 1 Day Prior To Your Surgery

Arrive To South Florida

Plan to arrive in the morning 1 day prior to your procedure. If your are flying in, it is best to fly to Fort Lauderdale (FLL)

Go To Your Hotel For Your Pre-op Visit And Check-in

Make Sure To Bring Your Supplies

We have emailed you a list of supplies such as water, juice, pads, etc., to bring for your surgery.

Please do not forget to bring your supplies with you

Surgery Prep

Do not eat or drink anything after 8 pm on the day prior to your surgery

Shower with regular soap and water the night before your surgery

Final Step:

Surgery Day

Arrive 1 Hour Prior To Your Scheduled Procedure

If you purchased a Stay Package, your driver will pick you up in the morning 1.5 hours prior to your scheduled surgery. After your surgery the driver will take you back to the hotel where your recovery assistant will take care of you for the next 30 hours.
